Popular musician, Peter Okoye of the defunct Psquare Group has come out to explain how he and his household tested positive to Covid-19 some weeks ago.
Though the news of their result was kept as a secret but the popular artiste has come out to reveal how difficult it was for him and his household.
According to him, he made it known that he tested positive first after noticing some symptoms after which his daughter tested positive.
He explained that during the time, he was self-isolated in his guest room while doctors insisted that his daughter should also self-isolate in her room. He made it known that he couldn’t see anyone but was calling on video call to see his family members.
However, he explained that his wife couldn’t bare not seeing his daughter and forced herself to go to her room, took her to the masterbedroom, which was the reason she tested positive too.
Although, everyone of them have tested negative now , he urged Nigerians to be careful because the virus is real
‘’ The doctor insisted my daughter has to be self isolated in her room. My wife did something courageous, she said no, I was sick and I was being self isolated in my own guest room, I coundn’t even see my daughter, and it was bad that I had to be calling on Video to see them.
The next day, my wife did something courageous, she took my daughter, held her and took her to the masterbedroom, she called me, and said she cant leave her alone. In six days, my daughter was pronounced negative, but the next day, my wife became positive, it’s being hell, Covid-19 is real, don’t take it for granted, though we are now negative, people suspected but I want to say thank God we are alive including our domestic staff’’
