…For Attacking Seyi Makinde

The family had earlier accused Seyi Makinde of delaying the burial of Senator Ajimobi because he didn’t approve the burial site the family wanted. Seyi Makinde in his response too, explained that the building on the land they want to bury him on is on litigation and is not for the deceased but government property.

The burial of the former governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi has caused several rancor between the family, especially his widow, Florence, and the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde over issues bothering on Burial site and condolence messages.

The family later succumbed and buried the dead in his oluyole estate in Ibadan, but after the burial, Florence Ajimobi attacked Governor Seyi  Makinde for not calling her over the demise of her husband.

She explained that Governor Seyi Makinde is playing politics with the death of her husband because he also didn’t ask about his health when he was hospitalized.

The deputy governor who was at the burial made it known that he called her severally but she refused to pick up, in response, she noted that she doesn’t pick calls anyhow because she is a wife to a politician.

However, she has received several backlash after her uproar. Several people have explained that attacking Governor Seyi Makinde isn’t the right thing to do because his deputy governor already reached out but she refused to pick up.

They also accused her of having a sense of entitlement when she clearly doesn’t.
