Ace Broadcaster/Journalist Tony Irabor has task journalist to engage in Investigative reporting across the nation.

This was made known at the 2020 Nestle Nigeria Plc media engagement and awards held in CMD Amusement park, Magodo, Lagos at the weekend.


Irabor, a media guru at the event advice the media to make use of the available technology and digital to advance reporting. 

In thesame vein, the head Corporate Communications, Nestle Nigeria Plc., Ms Victoria Uwadika enjoy media to involve in good reportage as she welcome them to the engagement. Uwadika solicit for a promising and robust relationship in the coming year 2021.

Earlier an online game was introduce which of course make the gathering lifely and caught the attention of the media and participants. Initially a female was leading the game. But at the end of the game a male winner emerged.

However, the the peak of the event was when individual reporters and companies were awarded. The three award categories were stated below.

Category 1: Most Supportive Media Partner of the year. This media partner has covered all Nestle news consistently.

Winner of Most Supportive Media Partner of the Year: News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

1st Runner Up for Most Supportive Media Partner of the Year: West Africa Business News. 

Category 2: Most Innovative Media Partner of the Year. This Media Partner has been able to report Nestle stories with great storytelling techniques showing an understanding of the news story.

Winner of Most Innovative Media Partner of the Year: Onuwa Lucky Joseph (CSI, BusinessDay).

1st Runner Up: Royal Odiri Uche (Leadership Newspapers).

Category 3: Advancing Nutrition, Health and Wellness (NHW)Programme. This Media Partner not only took part in the Advancing NHW Programme with the LBS, but also actively participated during the coursework and performed excellently on assignments. 

Overall Best Student, Advancing Nutrition, Health and Wellness Programme – Chioma Obinna, (Vanguard).
