Massive gas leakages have been reported in Ikeja area of Lagos State, reports TheForesight Media.
The leakages, this medium learnt, was caused by the burst pipelines by construction workers of the current construction works going on in the area.
The affected areas are: Computer Village, Ikeja Under Bridge, Awolowo Way, Oba Akran axis and Anifowose area.
It was learnt that one of the caterpillars burst the pipeline during demolition exercise taking place in the area.
The National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) warned residents of the not to open shops or use open naked fire in order to ignite expsion in the area.
Emergency workers are already on ground to prevent any calamitous reaction.
