On behalf of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Youth Orientation Network, BATYON,I wish to celebrate with our Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of this year’s Eid El Kabir.
Eid al-Adha is the manifestation of submission to the command of God and the manifestation of the great grace and mercy of God and the highest and purest level of obedience and servitude to the Creator and the glory of self-sacrifice and faith of the creature. Therefore, it is important that we are reminded of why we are celebrating and express the virtues of the season to everyone around us.
We urge the Muslim Ummah to uphold the lessons of love, loyalty and sacrifice during and after the celebration. This period should also be an avenue to reach out to the less privileged in the society by lifting them out of despair and sharing various gifts to them in line with the commandment of our Holy Prophet.
We must also remember our dear country Nigeria in our prayers and not to lose hope. Through our prayers, dedication to service and tenacity, we will get the country we have been working and praying for.
We encourage all Nigerians home and in diaspora to pray for our leader and All Progressive Congress, APC Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory at the forthcoming Presidential election.
