History has been re-writtenl!!! The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu popularly known as “Jagaban of Borgu” has been declared winner of the 2023 presidential elections.
Bola Tinubu scored 8,794,726 votes to defeat the top contenders, Atiku Abubakar of PDP, Peter Obi of Labour Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions respectively.
Asiwaju Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima will pick their certificates of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at 3pm today 1st of March, 2023 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Though the President-Elect lost in his home state Lagos for the first time in history, at the same time he won in Nigeria as president -a long life time ambition breaking the jinx in Nigeria!
