Emphatic No Increase In PMS Prices, As NNPC Ltd Assures Nigerians

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd. assures the public that there is no imminent increase in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.

According to the information forwarded to TheForesight Media Platform by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer NNPC Ltd. Abuja, Olufemi Soneye on Thursday 3rd January, 2024.

NNPC Ltd. urges Nigerians to disregard unfounded rumours and assures them that there are no plans for an upward review of the PMS price.

Motorists nationwide are advised against engaging in panic buying, as there is presently ample availability of PMS across the country.

TheForesight search crew (vox pop) gathering revealed that most fuel increases usually originate from panic buying among Nigerians as a start and can be elastic.

Also as a result most motorists usually engage in excessive buying of the products without the storage facilities.
