LGA Election: Sanwo-Olu Presents Flags To APC Chairmanship Candidates

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has presented party flags to all the 57 APC Chairmanship flagbearers in councils of Lagos State. The colour and high-powered gathering of Lagos State APC stakeholders. It was held at the State House, Marina, Wednesday.

At the event, the APC candidates chosen from the party’s primaries, received their flagbearer’s endorsement by Governor and the State Party Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, to succeed.

In his remarks, Governor Sanwo-Olu charge the candidates to ensure that they strive to hold a peaceful election in their councils. He lastly urged all aggrieved aspirants to “shelve their swords” and work for the success of the party’s officially endorsed candidates. Governor Sanwo-Olu hosted all APC candidates for the upcoming local government elections alongside the first lady, Dr. (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu. They both encouraged them to engage deeply with the communities they hope to serve.

“Campaigning is more than asking for votes, it’s about showing up, being present, and building trust. I also reminded them that leadership is a team effort. They need to work closely with their vice chairmen and fellow local officials to drive real progress at the grassroots level, where it matters most.
