Chief Dr. (Mrs). Vivian Obi is a woman with uncommon skills and mobiliser of women for political activities.
Obi has been involved in humanitarian activities for several years and she has continued to show her love for her fatherland through her participation in political matters over the years.
All these did not go unnoticed as Vivian Obi was recognized with excellence recognition award for her contribution to women and youths development in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday April 11, 2021.
Chief Vivian Obi is an erudite scholar, grassroots reformer and she has been an extraordinary woman in her drive for the development of women.
She was so elated and happy for receiving the award, which she earned based on her humanitarian works and the assistance she rendered to several women and youths.
“I love helping people and I am very happy to be chosen for the award. I say thank you to everybody that made me got this award,” she said after receiving the award on Sunday.
She then dedicated the award to the downtrodden women, and young women who find it difficult to make it in life.
“I dedicate the award to them because they need support, and I want them to know that I will not relent until they succeed, and they should keep pushing,” she opined.
Chief Vivian is a Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and she has been in the forefront of advocating for women and youth development for several years.
The loving woman is happily married and she is a mother with so many virtues embedded in her.
She is one person, who places emphasis on the strategic education of people, and she has mentored many teenagers/youth and women.
Apart from that, Obi is a progressive woman that doesn’t relent until after achieving success in a venture.
Obi is from core Igbo speaking area of Delta State (Anioma) and she is married to Dr. Eze Edwin from Imo State.
This noble ambassador of women development is the National Coordinator/Founder of the Progressive Women and Youth Advocacy Organization (PWAYAC) and the coordinator of the organisation’s cooperatives for aiding members’ financial capacity through her empowerment drive.
Chief Dr Mrs Vivian Obi obtained doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership and Philanthropic Management from Edsea Business School in Affiliation with UK Business Management & Enterprise.
She is a motivational speaker with several awards to her credit.
This distinguished woman also got an appointment as the Special Adviser to a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 2, Hon. (Sir) Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu based on her exceptional role in the Community.
She’s the women leader of Ndigbo APC, Diaspora, Director General of Gender Affairs and Equity NGGI, and National Deputy President, South Wes Igbo Progressives Union.
She is the Chairperson of the Sub-Committee Ndigbo of the Lagos State APC Campaign Committee, Executive Member, APC and Woman Leader, Southwest for Igbo Women in the National Coalition of Tinubu Support Group, National Matron, Tinubu Media Team, and Deputy Director, Edsea Business School.
This exceptional mobilizer has always been in charge of several women organizations and she is a philanthropist.
She is popularly called; ‘Sunshine’ due to her activities all over the country.
