The Initiator/Coordinator, Ekoonibaje Festival Lagos, Ozo Chiedu Idezuna, Ezemua of Africa, advised President Muhammadu Buhari to protect the lives and properties of the citizen, he said.
The president sweared to uphold the Unity and protect the citizenry, he should know that he is the president of the people and that if he cannot protect the people then he is nobody.
He should know that people are there before him and tomorrow another person will be there, he still have another time to embrase all the ethnics group in the country and see them as one.
If we can live in peace the issue of insecurity will not be there.
Ozo who is an artist that also see art as an act of God said: Artist is not meant for everybody because it is not an ordinary occupation like lawyer, but an inborn thing.
God is an artist by creating Man, for one to be an artist it must come from within, it comes with inspiration, their are kind of artist, cooking, tailoring, carpenter, journalists are all artist, using word to creat an avenue for people to be move to want to know what is happining in your own environment and using your pen to move people is also known as an art.
On his view an the forthcoming of Ekoonibaje new year festival, he said the feature of the year event is to look at the mission of promoting the peaceful co-existance of all the ethnics group nationaly in Nigeria expecially Lagos because Lagos is Mini Nigeria.
We must co-exist since we must exist, nobody has the power to stop the other from existing except God, Ekoonibaje came up as an inspiration, we must start to preach the peaceful co-existance of our ethnicity nationally, in every villiage we have kindrel but in Lagos we have avenue where we have the Youruba, Egun, igbo and hausa why yoruba are the owner of Lagos, that is why we name or annual festival, Ekoonibaje New Yam festival.
We used yam because nobody forbides yam and when you cut the yam it is white that also stand for peace that stand for national unity, so Ekoonibajee is already artistical.
On the security state of the country, Eze Oze said he cannot speak for everybody but that Nigeria as a matter of fact is not secured, we had the other time that robbers invaded Aso Rock and we are still mourning our number one Man in the Army, Attahiru Ibrahim, he died because of the failed country.
This is the way we also lost the minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige, during Olusegun Obasanjo administration, till today the Justice could not get justice and all this are trough failed country.

As a nation the only thing that keep us together is our national flag, I was born 1970 from then till now we have never been one, those day you will be hearing “yanmirin” and “Nigbatigbati,” tribalism have been there it is part of our culture, the only thing we are trying to avaid is nepotism.
Ekoonibaje want to see that even if we live under the green white and green, we should know that the same blood runs in our vain and just one life, let us see more of the diversity in what we can benefit for ourselves
