The remains of Whitney Adeniran a student of Chrisland put for autopsy has finally been released and laid to rest amidst outflow of emotions and tears of sorrow.
It would be recalled that Whitney’s mum, Mrs Adeniran had raised alarm after her daughter died at her school’s inter-house sports on February 9th.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Government has settled controversies trailing death of 12years old Chrisland schoolgirl, Whitney Adeniran, disclosing that she died after been electrocuted at the Agege Stadium, Agege Local Government.
It said that the autopsy report conducted on her showed that the schoolgirl’s death was as a result of electrocution and Asphyxia.
The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Moyosore Onigbanjo, revealed this on Thursday through a statement made available to newsmen after receiving the autopsy report conducted by Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
However, at her burial, it was a sombre atmosphere and her mother couldn’t hold back the ‘floods’ of tears at the sight of her first child’s coffin.
Friends, family and classmates of Whitney had gathered for the sorrowful event.
