The newly crowned European Conference league champions, Chelsea FC of England, has majestically landed on the final of the ongoing 2025 FIFA Clubs World Cup tournament, taking place in the United States.
Chelsea, fondly known as “the blues”, secured the CWC final ticket in a grand style against all pre-match odds and predictions. Chelsea safely handed their rivals Fluminense of Brazil 2-0, in the first semi-final of the competition played on Tuesday night.
Chelsea arose with full force like a hungry lion in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 semi-final match to unleashed terror and instantly sent the Brazilians out of the prestigious global football clubs Championship. it was an exciting match with full dose of drama, as their opponent, a Brazilian football giant was sent packaging by Chelsea’s newly signed Brazilian striker, Joao Pedro. Inaddition, Fluminense was captained by former Chelsea captain and ace defender, Brazilian-born legendary Thiago Silver. Sliver captained Chelsea to their first FIFA CWC title in 2021
Pedro, an excellent promising striker scored the two outstanding goals for Chelsea, to record a historic feat on his outing in the CWC. The passionate player who made his first start for Chelsea scored in the 18th minutes of the first half to give his club an inspiring boost to go for victory against the dreaded pre-match favourites Fluminense FC.
After the goal, Fluminense launched a come back attack for an equalizer. But their impressive efforts was saved by midfield marshall Marc Cucurella. He stretch to kick the ball out with a miraculous clearance off the ball from the goal line to save the day.
Chelsea faced the most anxious moment when the referee gave Fluminense a penalty, following a suspected foul by a Chelsea defender, Chaloba, but VAR upturned the decision.
In the second half, goal hungry Pedro made another goal scoring awesome move in their rivals side. Having been challenged by the experienced Fluminense defenders led by Captain Thiago Sliver, he took a superb curved shot outside their eighteen yard box to score his second goal in the 56th minutes of the game. The wonderful goal received loud joyous ovation from the teeming Chelsea fans in the stadium. Having secured the comfortable lead, Chelsea fortified their team with more stronger players like Nicholas Jackson who replaced Pedro among others. They tenacously held on to the two goals until the end to triumph by 2-0 to earn a deserved final ticket.
