BREAKING: Reps Approve Buhari’s $22.7bn Loan Request

Three months after $22.7bn loan request by President Muhammadu Buhari was put on hold due to some challenges as reported, the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has today June 2 given approval of the same.

The request was granted on Tuesday by the lawmakers during a plenary session after the committee on aids, loans, and debt management gave its report. The Senate had previously announced its approval for the loan.
