…At LASEMA’s Igando Relief Camp
It was all-round jubilation yesterday 6th June, 2020 at LASEMA’s Igando relief camp when 26 year old pregnant Mrs. Madubike Promise was safely delivered of a healthy baby boy.
The Y2020 ‘Baby of the Camp’ delivered to Mr. Reuben and Mrs. Promise Madubike elicited great joy and appreciation by all other Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, at the Igando Relief Camp.
Promise who presented at the camp’s clinic night of Friday 5th June, 2020 was attended and subsequentlyt taken to the Alimosho General Hospital where she was eventually delivered of a baby boy at about 6:40a.m yesterday.
The joy and appreciation was resounding as the DG/CEO LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke–Osanyintolu took charge of the welfare and basic needs of mother and child on behalf of the Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu led administration.
Since their discharge from the Alimosho General Hospital, mother and child are making healthy progress at the Igando relief camp, where they were ferried to, for continued heath care by the Lagos State Government till their reintegration into the society.
