29 Artistes Gather Online Today For Ibidunni Ighodalo @40

Accomplished businesswoman and philanthropist, late Ibidunni Ighodalo, would have turned 40 today had she not passed away on June 14 in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

But death took away the wife of the Lagos-based preacher and Trinity House founder, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, leaving her family, friends, and associates to mourn the late events planner who was buried on June 20 at a private residence.

In her honour and in celebration of her 40th posthumous birthday, at least 29 gospel artistes are billed to perform online today from 8pm to 12am.

Top artistes including Tope Alabi, TY Bello, Sammie Okposo, Tosin Alao, Mike Aremu, Ron Kenoly, Muyiwa Olanrewanju, Kunle Ayo, BJ Sax, Ibiayo Jeje, Alabi Oke, Psalmos, Efe Nathan, Yetunde Are, Seyi Ajayi, among others will be performing today and fans are to hook up via social media to join the event tagged Global Worship Concert.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that Ibidunni’s brother-in-law, Asue Ighodalo, said during her funeral that her mother had planned to give her a house as a surprise gift today.

Narrating the experience, Asue had said, “Ibidun’s mom had been working on a house that she wanted to give Ibidun on her 40th birthday. So, she took my hand and showed me the house.

“She said, ‘Uncle Asue, I want you to see the house. I was going to give this key to you to give Ituah on the 18th so that Ituah will give her on the 19th. I needed to show my daughter how much I truly loved her.’ And she took me to the house, the house nearly completed in her Estate.”

Also, TY Bello had revealed that the late ex-Beauty Queen and founder of Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation planned to mark her 40th birthday by helping 40 couples to have their babies.

Through the foundation, the late Ibidunni counseled couples facing fertility challenges and supported them financially for in vitro fertilisation.
