Feeders Foundation Feeds Children, Empowers Private School Teachers In Lagos Slum Community

The Feeders Foundation, wholly dedicated to the Feeding, Education, Empowerment and Development of people, especially ones in low-income communities, has recently fed no fewer than three hundred (300) children, and empowered some private school teachers in the slum community of Sogunro, Iwaya/Makoko, Lagos.Since the outset of the Covid-19 oandemic in the country, the Foundation has embarked on a series of outreaches to help bring succour to vulnerable groups and individuals hard hit by the accompanying economic hardship, via food supplies, protective materials supply among others.The feeding and empowerment program was done in the community on Saturday August 8th, 2020, with product support from Rite Foods Nigeria and financial support from the United Parcel Service (UPS) and individual philanthropists.The Founder and Lead of the Foundation, Hunsu Ezekiel Olusegun explained that idea behind the laudable project was to rally support for members of the community to help them thrive despite the harsh realities of the Covid-19 pandemic, adding that the organization would continue to make impacts in the locality, if supported by more good-spirited individuals and organizations.  The beneficiaries of the outreach were full of gratitude and showered prayers on the Foundation and their sponsors for the kind gesture.
