Left back Rashid Okocha has extended his stay at West Nile UPL giants Onduparaka FC.

On Saturday morning in a well crafted short video on all the club’s social media platforms, the caterpillars confirmed that Okocha had renewed his contract with a caption “Jay Jay is staying.”

The overlapping left back joined Onduparaka in June 2017 from Nebbi Central and put pen to paper on a three-year contract that expired at the end of the 2019-20 StarTimes UPL season.

Onduparaka has so far signed goalkeeper Augustine Opoka, striker Gabriel Matata, Augustine Akoch, Nelson Opiyo, Emmanuel Odur, Okech Emmanuel, Bony Musema, Jerry Jakisa and Kennedy Atibuni, Jasper Okello, Kenneth Makama,Simon Okot, Oscar Agaba, Ronald Odokonyero (loan from URA), Shaban Wasswa, Moses Okot and Noel Nasasira

Meanwhile Hassan Muhamood, Abel Eturude and Ezra Bida have all already departed the club and striker Julius Malingumu whose employment contract expired, has not shown any interest to renew it.
