A lot of people know about the wife and kids of Bishop Oyedepo who is the Founder of Winners Chapel, but most people don’t know about the man who gave birth to him.
Bishop Oyedepo who hails from Kwara State was born on the 27th of September in 1954. His father named Ibrahim was a devoted Muslim, while his mother named Dorcas was a devoted member of Cherubim and Seraphim Church. According to reports Bishop Oyedepo knew nothing about Christianity, but fortunately his secondary school teacher was a devoted Christian and she led him to Christ.
His secondary school teacher named Betty Lasher led him to Christ in the year 1969, and his grandmother thought him a lot of things like praying and reading the Bible.
Although his father named Ibrahim was a devoted Muslim he didn’t stop him from pursuing his Christian Faith, he supported him in everything and today Bishop Oyedepo is the richest Pastor in Africa. Bishop Oyedepo and his father was very close and you wouldn’t believe that both of them have religious differences. Pa Ibrahim Oyedepo deserves to be Celebrated because he didn’t stop his son from pursuing his dreams. Pa Ibrahim converted to Christianity before he passed away in the year 2004 at the age of 102.
