The International Community of Civil Societies has just been thrown into mourning by the deaths of 2 key figures in Nigeria, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, 67, Executive Governor of Ondo State, who just succumbed to cold arm of death early hours of today, Wednesday.

This was confirmed through the press brief information made available to TheForesight Media Platform in Lagos by the National Coordinator of Coalition of Pro -Democracy Groups for A Better Nigeria, Comrade Awa Bamiji.

The statement refered to the earlier information of the Governor’s recent trip to a German Hospital, where he was receiving treatment for his double ailments, leukemia and prostrate cancer, both of which incapacitated him for several months, according to a Senior Government Official of Ondo State.

In a similar development, Rt. (Hon) Ghali Na’Abba, who was the People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate representing Kano Municipal Federal Constituency in 1999 general election, won and later became the Honourable Speaker, House of Representatives after a political crisis that led to exit of Rt. (Hon) Salisu Buhari, died in Abuja this morning after his long battle with ailment.
